Refund policy

At Distinctively Mod, every piece is handpicked with intention for the woman who leads with presence and style. While we hope your order is a perfect fit, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. Please review the full policy below before initiating a return.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns for store credit or exchange only within 7 days of delivery.
Refunds are not issued under any circumstances.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be:
• Unworn and unwashed
• In original condition with tags attached in their original location
• Returned with the original invoice or order confirmation email

A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all approved returns.
Items that do not meet the above conditions will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items

The following items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit:
• Sale or clearance items
• Items purchased using a discount or promo code
• Accessories and intimate apparel

Exchanges

• Desired items for exchange are not guaranteed to be in stock
• If exchanging for an item of lesser value, the difference will be issued as store credit
• If exchanging for a higher-value item, the customer is responsible for covering the difference
• Exchange items must meet all return eligibility criteria

Store Credit

• Store credit will be issued within 1–2 business days of receiving and approving your return
• Credit applies to the item subtotal only (shipping is not included)
• Credit is valid for 6 months from the issue date

Refunds

Due to the nature of our boutique offerings and limited inventory, Distinctively Mod does not offer refunds.

Please note:
• Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
• We recommend using tracked shipping with insurance
• Distinctively Mod is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged packages in transit

Shipping & Handling

• Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable
• Returned items that are worn, stained, damaged, or carry scent will be refused
• Distinctively Mod reserves the right to reject any return that does not comply with this policy

Return Mailing Address

For security and tracking purposes, our return mailing address is provided only during the return process. Please do not ship items back to the address on your package or website without return authorization, as it may delay your return or exchange.
